Join guest facilitator Daniel Weinshenker, MA, MSW Intern from Metro State Univ. for a 90-minute workshop
where we’ll guide you through a simple reflective art exercise based on the book The Dot. In the workshop,
participants will paint simple or complex dots using different art supplies, express emotions through
painting and writing, reflect on how the process relates to the cancer journey, learn how expressive arts
can be used by patients to reduce stress.
This group will be held on April 8th, 2020 from 2:30 – 4:00pm at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers – SkyRidge
